New Cambridgeshire Ladies Business Networking Group Launches
Pop Connect Meetings Full of Fun and Business
Wow, what a month for Pop Connect! On 3rd March we launched our North Cambs group with a meeting at The Snooty Tavern, Great Staughton. There were 12 interesting and inspiring attendees and we very much hope to see many of them again. Emma Hunter, Business Coach and Mediator gave a fascinating presentation on the value of networking and we also heard from Travel Counsellor, Rachael Burridge entertaining us with loads of travel information showing off her 20+ years experience and offering a quick fun quiz leading to a prize! The venue and food were perfect too.
On 10th March was our monthly Thursday Dunmow group and we had a brilliant meeting with 19 people in the Drawing Room at Scrumptious Tearooms. Member Sarah Perks gave us a truly fabulous presentation on her hypnotherapy business, Inspired to Change. She was amazed by our reaction and had several people asking for appointments to deal with their confidence, issues or phobias or those of their friends and family. Our second presentation was from Cariad Marketing and provided us all with really some useful tips.
Graphic Design member told everyone “This is the friendliest meeting I go to”.
Pop Connect aims to be relaxed and friendly whilst also being structured and the amount of business between members is proof that this form of networking is definitely working for both members and visitors.
We’re looking forward to launching our Friday Dunmow group on 29th April, which is already proving very popular.
